BTCCheckout.ai provides a self-hosted Bitcoin payment gateway plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce. The Plugin enables WooCommerce store owners to accept Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payments directly to their own wallets. We offer a free tier (Bitcoin only) and a paid Pro tier (multi-currency support).
The free version of BTCCheckout grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Plugin on unlimited WordPress websites for Bitcoin-only payment processing. The free license key provided upon download is required for activation.
The Pro license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Plugin with full multi-currency support on the number of sites specified by your subscription plan. Pro licenses are tied to your subscription and remain active as long as your subscription is current. Each Pro license key may be activated on up to 5 domains simultaneously unless otherwise specified.
Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe. All prices are listed in USD. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Pro subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Plugin within 14 days of your initial purchase, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion. Refunds are not available for renewal charges — please cancel your subscription before the renewal date if you wish to discontinue.
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal accessible from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your license will revert to the free tier (Bitcoin only). No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.

Your license grants usage rights only — no ownership or intellectual property rights are transferred. The BTCCheckout name, logo, and branding are trademarks of BTCCheckout.ai.
The Plugin and Website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all WordPress configurations. Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible — we are not responsible for lost, misdirected, or failed payments resulting from incorrect wallet addresses, blockchain network issues, or user error.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BTCCheckout.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Plugin or Website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The BTCCheckout plugin is self-hosted on your WordPress installation. All Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payments are processed directly between your customers and your wallet. We do not act as a payment processor, custodian, or intermediary. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet addresses, the configuration of your WooCommerce store, and compliance with applicable regulations in your jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
